Modernising how wills are signed and recorded.
Kellon is an early-stage legal-tech startup exploring better ways to support remote will signings in Victoria.
We are building tools to make the process clearer, more consistent, and easier to document.
Why this matters
Estate planning is one of the most personal areas of law.
It deals with grief, family, and the future.
It affects everyone.
Yet, much of the process is still paper-based and manual.
Remote signing is now possible in Victoria.
But the workflow around it is fragmented and inconsistent.
We believe this area deserves thoughtful improvement.
Not because it is flashy,
but because it matters.
Making the process smoother for firms
means less stress for families during difficult moments.
Founder Insight
Kellon began from firsthand experience in private practice.
Working in estate planning, we saw how much of the work relied on checklists, memory, emails, and file notes.
Especially for remote signings.
The legal requirements are important.
The record matters.
But the process can feel improvised.
We are exploring whether software can help bring structure and clarity to that workflow.
Transition to Product
We are currently designing and validating an early version of Kellon.
If you are a Victorian law firm interested in shaping how this evolves, we would love to speak with you.
